Liofilchem® Easy Dry™ culture media are pre-prepared absorbent pads impregnated with sterile, dehydrated culture medium. These pads provide a convenient and efficient solution for microbiological analysis using the membrane filtration method, especially for large sample volumes.

Preparation Instructions:
- Open the bag and remove the required number of Easy Dry™ plates.
- Add 2.2 mL of sterile distilled or deionized water to the pad in each Petri dish.
- Wait 5 minutes for the media to rehydrate before use.
Test Procedure:
- Filter the sample through a 0.45 µm membrane filter.
- Transfer the filter membrane onto the Easy Dry™ pad.
- Incubate at 36 ± 2°C for 18-24 hours under aerobic conditions.
Results Interpretation:
- Examine the colonies on the membrane after incubation.
- Use the media-specific ID table to interpret colony colors and characteristics.
