The Invitrogen™ PureLink™ HiPure Plasmid Filter Maxiprep Kit delivers rapid, large-scale purification of transfection-grade plasmid DNA from E. coli. Using HiPure Filter Columns, this system integrates bacterial lysate clarification and anion-exchange resin DNA purification into a single step, eliminating centrifugation. The result is high-purity plasmid DNA equivalent to two cesium chloride gradient passes, without the use of phenol, chloroform, ethidium bromide, or CsCl.

From 100–500 mL overnight bacterial cultures, the kit yields up to 1,000 μg (1 mg) of plasmid DNA in less than 2 hours, with A260/A280 > 1.8 and endotoxin levels of 0.1–1 EU/µg. This makes it ideal for sensitive downstream applications including mammalian cell transfection, sequencing, cloning, PCR, and in vitro transcription.
