Thermo Scientific™ Phenol Water-Saturated Solution is a high-purity, ready-to-use phenol/Tris-based reagent formulated specifically for molecular biology workflows. This stabilized solution is saturated with water and adjusted with Tris (hydroxymethyl)aminomethane to maintain a pH favorable for DNA extraction and purification, eliminating the need for pH titration prior to use.
Free from detectable DNase, RNase, and Protease activity, and stabilized with 0.08–0.12% hydroxyquinoline, this solution ensures sample integrity during nucleic acid isolation. It is suitable for manual or automated DNA purification workflows in research and forensic laboratories.
