Usage Instructions

1. Sample Collection:
   • Clean the puncture site and obtain a blood drop via fingerstick or appropriate method.
   • Fill the microcuvette by touching the tip to the blood drop; it will automatically draw the correct volume.
2. Analysis:
   • Wipe off any excess blood from the outside of the cuvette without touching the open end.
   • Insert the filled microcuvette into the HemoCue Hb 301 Analyzer.
   • Read the hemoglobin value displayed on the analyzer screen.
3. Disposal:
   • Dispose of used microcuvettes in accordance with biohazard waste protocols.
